You've just won the Lottery for a free trip to Planet Etiquette. It's a beautiful place, so much to do, and the inhabitants are so... well-mannered. There's one thing, though. The rules in this place demand strict obedience. One miss-step in etiquette, and you lose your passport...forever. Your first stop is the Planet cinema. Sitting in the front row, you want to make a good impression. So you reach up to touch the brim of your hat, and... adjust it neatly on your hair. take it off and place it on your lap. Keeping your hat on is discourteous to the people seated behind you. You're blocking their view. Your passport to Planet Etiquette is immediately revoked.  Good job! It would be impolite to wear your hat inside the theater. You finish watching the movie and step out into the Planet city. To catch a cab, you... wave your hand. hurl something at the driver. shout and whistle. Excellent. Soon you're on your way to enjoy dinner at a four-star restaurant. You order a scrumptious meal of Planet salad and stifle an inappropriate burp. When the bill arrives, you leave a tip before departing. Your tip was... 15 - 20 % of the total cost. 5 - 10 % of the total cost. No one stops for you on Planet Etiquette. You have committed a breach of manners. Your passport is revoked and you receive a black mark in the city's Book of Shame. Well done. It's off to the museum. Before entering, you decide to... wear open-toed sandals remove your shoes and socks wear sneakers wear clean soft-heeled shoes That's too low for a restaurant tip. You are BANNED from Planet Etiquette, never to return. Too casual. Too slip shod. The museum's Etiquette Alarm blares out, and you're frantically escorted off Planet Etiquette. The museum tour was fabulous. Ready to turn in for the night, you return to the Planet Etiquette hotel and tumble into bed. The next morning, after brushing your teeth, you... steal some small towels, as souvenirs bathe in the tub run through the halls The hotel house rules have been broken. The Planet Etiquette police arrive to take you into custody. You find them to be totally immune to your desperate pleas for forgiveness. But throughout the ordeal Law Enforcement remains extremely well-mannered. A fantastic trip! You had a great time at Planet Etiquette.
