Tim and I met during the last week of school. I had a crush on him ever since the second semester. I figured that since I was too shy to ask him if he would go with me, I'd at least let him know I'm alive, so I started talking to him, like my play brother (who is, thankfully, Tim's friend), John, suggested. I told John how much I liked him, and although he replied with a "I'm tired of you having a crush on my friends", he was scheming on hooking us up. So one day, I was checking my e-mail and John wrote me saying that he told Timothy that he liked me, at first I was mad at him til I read that he would go out with me. He told me to call him over Tim's house so he can hook it up, and I did, but I ended up hooking it up anyway. THANX JOHN (But I'm not mad at you)!!! When he said yes and we got off the phone I let out the loudest scream I ever made, and called my friend Brittany and was like "AHHHHHHHHHHH, girl I go with him, I go with him!!!!!!!!!!!" We've only been together about a month and a half, and I like him more than anybody I have ever met. -- BG

I met my now fiance, James, online on Valentine's day 2 years ago. I actually answered his personal ad he had posted. we communicated through e-mails and by telephone for about a month and then we decided to meet. The night we met was one I will never forget. Now over 2 years later we are planning our wedding and have made a new addition. We have a 3 week old baby boy who we love as much as we love each other.

--------------------------

We met at a school football game. He was dating my best friend. No, it wasn't like I took him away from her or I wasn't a good friend... I promise! See, when he got there she was flirting with a bunch of other guys. He would sit down next to her, she would move, etc. Finally, I saw him standing by himself so, I went over to see if he was ok. (At this point in time, I really didn't like him because of the things my friend had said about him. But, I felt really bad for him, so I went to make sure he was ok.) Well, we got to talking & I realized how much he cared about her. She was doing all this to him & he wasn't even mad...just hurt. He cared that much. Their relationship ended eventually. Then, I decided I wanted someone like that in my life... No, I wanted him in my life! For the next few weeks we flirted continuously, & actually became really good friends. He asked me out on October 12. We were on a small island in the middle of a lake. We had the most amazing relationship! We loved each other, we could tell the other anything, & we were best friends. We had such a unique relationship. People told us we were too young to know what love was but, I know for a fact that we both knew better. We knew forever didn't seem like long enough, that dreams were becoming reality. Unfortunately, our relationship ended after 11 months & 2 days, when we were separated & went to different schools. But, we will again be at the same school next year & we can see where things go from there. ** I have faith that if God wants me with him, we will be together!

I met my boyfriend when we were both working at Burger King the summer after our sophomore year of high school. I had a huge crush on him, but he had a girlfriend. His ex girlfriend now broke up with him and I knew it was my chance to go after him. We became friends first, and a couple months later we started going out. We have been together for 1 1/2 years, we both have quit Burger King and have moved on to bigger and better things. He is all I have ever wanted and I love him to death...

Well, Jeff and I met on April 29th. He had just moved in across the street from me, so me and my mom went over to give him the brownies we baked as a 'welcome-to-the-neighborhood' present. We met his mom first, and then she called him out to say hello. I remember he was wearing his (I later found out) favorite hockey jacket and khaki pants. He was so shy, he wouldn't even look at me he just muttered a quick hi and went back inside. It wasn't love at first sight, but I remember that somehow I knew that I wanted to get to know him better and that we would become friends. Well, we hung out for awhile, and I began to like him-A LOT. I told my freinds about it and they were like oh, you have a crush on him! and i was like, no i don't. But then I realized that I had a major crush on him. I still have a crush on him, but he is more than just a crush, he is one of my best freinds. We hang out every day; he always makes me laugh. We are not going out....YET....but I hope that will change soon! Keep your fingers crossed!! ~*~KB~*~

I met my boyfriend through a couple friends. My cousin had originally introduced us. I was into one of his friends but met Brandon and totally fell for him. We started to hang out with the one kid I was supposed to get hooked up with. I told Brandon I was hoping something would happen between us, and then he asked me out. That was on November 7, 2001 and we're still together today.

Six months ago I met Tim in an on-line chatroom. That night I had been very upset over my father's death. Tim noticed that I was upset and pmed me to see what was wrong. He made me talk to him and we had an instant bond. From that day on, we chatted. Finally, one day Tim asked me for my phone number, we have been chatting on the phone for six months now. We have yet to meet in person, but we talk everyday on the phone and the computer. I knew Tim was the one the day he said to me "I believe everyone has a special someone in the world that was meant for them, and I think I found mine." Some say that we are crazy and it won't work out, others say that we are soul mates. Well I definitely believe that I have found my soul mate. We are planning on meeting in August, and I know we will be together from then on.

...He asked me one day to go to the mall and hang out and i was really excited. When we got there we had so much fun talking, playing lazer tag, pool, and air hockey in the arcade and shopping. I was really shy so i couldn't even look him in the face and he asked me what was so interesting about the floor to make me smile. One of the things we talked about were our best school subjects, and i told him mine was spanish. He said something to me in spanish and told me to figure it out. i had a feeling he was asking me out but i was too nervous to say it. It turns out he was, and when i said yes he asked to kiss me and i said yes and it was the best day of my life. these have been the best 5 months of my life...

--------------------------

I had seen him for weeks and just admired him from a distance. I figured he didn't want me. All the girls were crazy about him. Why would he want me? Even though a lot of boys liked me too. But I didn't see myself as being pretty as a lot of people thought I was. So I didn't really think I had a chance. I had seen him at the Skating Ring, where all the young kids hung out at the time. Twice I had seen him with two different girls. So I thought he was taken. ...I decided to tell his sister, who I knew a little to either hook me or my best friend up with him. They asked him who he wanted to get hooked up with and he chose me. So they introduced me to him and we began talking. That night we had exchanged phone numbers and we had our first kiss. It was like it was meant to be because I felt like I knew him forever.

i met this guy in 6th grade (he was in 5th) in the gifted program. we were pretty close but during high school we became best friends. he was always the one that i turned to. he recently joined the military and i hadnt seen him in almost 2 yrs. he was recently on leave and called me to hang out. so we're sitting in the middle of this club and he starts confessing his feelings. and even though at the moment he is over 2000 miles away, its all gonna be good cause i would give up everything for him. he has always been there for me and even told some friends of mine that he wanted to take care of me and protect me.

I didn't actually meet Nick until my Junior year, but in eleventh grade I would watch him during lunch and sketch pictures of him. I knew he was doing drugs at that time, and he hung out with a rough crowd, so I never bothered to talk to him. The next year he was talking to one of my guy friends, and he saw an old spiral I was holding that had a sketch of him on it. About three months later he had stopped hanging with his old friends and it was obvious he was clean. He had changed for me, and asked me out. Months later he gave me a sketch he had drawn of me, all squiggly from lack of skill, and took one of my sketches of him, taping them together and telling me that one day he would glue them together, symbolizing a bond more permanent and enduring than the one we shared at the moment. A week later, I was engaged, and the sketches are safely glued together.

We had never met each other before. I was at a football game as I play in the band (bass drum). He had gotten bored that night and decided to come to watch a few of his friends perform, which they were also my friends. When it was time to load our drums on the trailer I walked off the field and some one hollared "Hey he thinks you're hot." I smiled and walked over... it was "him" he was talking about one of my ex's who's just a good friend now. My ex soon left us alone and we continued to talk. I left him my phone number and he called me the next day. He continued to come to the home games after that and after about the third one we hooked up.

I met Shawn at church when I ws 12 years old. He was my first kiss and "real" boyfriend, if you could call it that at 12. We saw each other at church and school functions only. He is older than me so we drifted apart as he went to college and to the army. Over the past 14 years I had dreams about him that were breath taking. We lived in the same small town but never bumped into each other. Then one day I needed a plumber to do some work at the restaurant that I was General manager for. I called a company that we had used for about a year, and they sent Shawn out to work on the problem. We had not seen each other for 14 years mind you, but we hit it off again instantly. We moved in together two weeks later and we have now been back together for a year and a half. We are planning our wedding now!!!!!! It is as if we knew that we were meant to be together all this time, but we had to grow up apart first so that we could really enjoy our relationship together now!!

I met my guy on the fourth of July. I was at Lake Lanier. Which is a water park. And I was in a fun-house. I was running from my friend who was spraying me with a hose. Then when I was walking a bunch of water was poured on my head. I looked up and saw this guy who had the cutest smile and beautiful blue eyes. Blue being my favorite color I was instantly smitten. I started blushing. Then I started flirting with him, and he was flirting back so then I left the fun-house hoping he would follow me out, and he did. So then he tapped me on my shoulder and asked me what my name was. So we started talking and we were walking down the beach together like we’d known each other for years. Then after he got my number he left. That’s when I realized I didn’t know his name! I was so mad, but I guess it was my lucky day because later on towards the end of the day I was walking to the pizza hut and he came up and tapped me on my shoulder again, and he smiled at me when I turned around. My heart was pounding, and then he was like my name's Steve. So we spent the rest of the day together and ended the night by watching fireworks together. It was like a fairy tale and it still is every time I’m with him.

I met my boyfriend at his 21st party which was being held at the coolest bar and restaurant in my town. He didn't even know me, but he let me into his party even though I wasn't on the guest list. One of the waitresses that knew him managed to get me upstairs and the only thing I "had" to do was give him a hug and wish him happy birthday. When we met it was weird because he was so sweet to me and he didn't even know me. I thought he was absolutely gorgeous and I didn't even want to talk to any other guy there. We chatted every now and again and it felt that I'd known him for ages. I seemed to lose track of him by the end of the night but when I got home, I couldn't stop thinking about him.

A couple of nights later when I went to work, I got a few text messages on my phone from an unknown number. A guy at my work asked me if I had recieved any text messages lately and I knew something was up. I quizzed him about it until he finally cracked and told me that he'd given my number to a guy who wanted to get to know me. I was so happy when I found out they were from Richard because the text messages were so sweet that I couldn't imagine them being from any other guy. A couple of weeks after his party, we made it offical and started going out. Tomorrow is our anniversary for two months and I am the happiest I have been in a long time. Richard is such a great guy, and I can totally see myself falling in love with him. Now I know why people say the best things in life really are free.....

My friend Tommy was having a party the night that I saw Adam. It was dark outside but I could hear his voice and it sounded really sweet. So that night I never got to meet Adam, but the next night my best friend and I went to another party. We both walked in and to my surprise there was Adam. The funny thing is that he could not remember my name but could remember my best friends. That made me upset. But I sat down next to Adam. He was a little drunk but that was ok. We started talking and he just leaned over and kissed me on the lips. WOW the best kiss ever. From that day on we are never apart at all. Even though he is a little older than me.(only 2 years) he understands that I am still in school and when I finish school we are going to move in together. I can't wait we are the cutest couple in the entire world and I LOVE HIM with all my heart and soul. -- E.C.

I met my guy through a "Gifted" program for smart kids in elementary school. He was a grade below me, but I knew him & we were friends. In high school, we were both in chorus & became even closer, until he was my best friend. At the beginning of my senior year we both liked each other, but felt like it would jeopardize our friendship to pursue a relationship. We stayed good friends, and were each other's rock throughout that year & throughout our own individual relationships until, in the spring we just couldn't deny our feelings for each other anymore. We started dating, and have a wonderful, healthy, & happy relationship.

My best friend talked to his best friend online. One day his friend told me i should talk to him. So i sent him a message. We totally hit it off. The next day we met in person (he only lived 15 min from me) so from then on we were inseperable....he's like my dream guy. The one I've been waiting for forever....

Well, I actually met the love of my life while I was on another date. I had known this guy Steve for a while and we decided to head down to a local bar to just hang out. I was completely miserable the whole time. He was so drunk and obnoxious. He had got up to go to the bathroom and that is when JAY came over. He asked why I looked so miserable with my boyfriend, and I told him it was only our first date. We talked for a while and then Steve came back. Well, anyway I ran into Jay that next week, found out he had just broke up with his four year girlfriend. We have been inseparable ever since. I could tell from the moment our eyes met, he was the one. To make a long story short, we are engaged to be married, and I couldn't be happier.

--------------------------

I was working at a large retail store on 3rd shift. The guy I was dating at the time worked with me. He was very good friends with the guy that worked on 1st shift in the same department, so naturally I became friends with him too. He would always stop by my dept. to say hi every morning when he came to work. He eventually quit and moved about 3 hrs. away. One night about a month later, while I was working, he came in to visit. I gave him my email addr. as he was leaving. By the time I got home the next morning, I had an email from him telling me that he wanted to see me before he left. We hung out for about 2 hrs. that afternoon and when he kissed me I realized that I was completely head over heels for the guy that I thought of as "just a friend". That was about a month ago, and I just returned from spending the weekend in the town where he now lives. I never thought I' d fall for someone so completely different from me. (I'm the rock chick and he's definitely not) but fate apparently had different plans for me...he means more to me than he'll ever know.

I met my boyfriend in the second grade. I had a huge crush on him and I would chase him around telling him I was gonna kiss him. Well time went on and I got over him...for a little while. Over the years fate threw us together time and time again. In the seventh grade we were assigned to be dancing partners in our music class, and we had the same art and FACS class as well. In the eighth grade my grandmother moved so I then rode his bus home everyday. We shared many of the same friends, and we also had the same math and composition class that year. In our composition class the teacher always put us together for projects and we inevitably became friends...with little crushes. Unfortunely we were both too shy to admit the crush to the other. Well two of our close friends saw the chemistry and started scheming to get us together. At our Spring dance they got us talking in the back. I finally worked up the courage to ask him to dance and he finally worked up the courage to ask me out. Well ever since that night we have been inseperable. I think I have finally found my Mister Right, and noboby can tell ME fate doesn't exist!
