When it comes to you and Love (or your Lover), it's 1 + 2. (It's at least 2...it could be 2 or more.)
In other words, it's You + your Lover + your Career-Goals-Family-Distractions-Baby-etc. (Take your pick.)
There's at least one other All-Important Something that is a "third partner" in your relationship.
Depending on how you feel about this, and whether your partner feels in agreement, it could be good...or bad.
If neither of you feels left out of the equation, then it's a great expansion of potential. If there's jealousy or competition, then it's a lessening of togetherness.
